This 87-Year-Old Woman Makes Masterpieces In Microsoft Paint Like It's No Big Deal

I mean, hi.

While you're drawing squiggles and filling them with colors, Zaera is out here making John James Audubon quiver in his grave.

Zaera's always been an artist at heart. She told Radio Valencia that she used to take oil painting, but when her children bought her a computer, she traded her paintbrushes and canvases for Microsoft Paint, Windows 7, and a mouse.

“My husband fell ill and I had to take care of him, so I couldn’t go out very often,” Zaera told El Mundo. “I began painting little things: first, a house, the next day I’d add a mountain… Step by step, I was adding details, and in the end, the result was a very pretty thing.”

It takes Zaera about two weeks to complete each masterpiece, and La Vanguardia reported that she gets her inspiration from postcards her husband used to send her.

One of Zaera's granddaughters suggested she start sharing her creations on Instagram, and thanks to a viral tweet in early March, she now has 109k followers.

"She's named Concha García Zaera (that's her name on Facebook)," the caption says in Spanish. "She is 87 years old, lives in Valencia, and is an ARTIST. She does amazing works with Paint. Retweet to recognize her."

Even with all of her followers and talent, Zaera is surprised at all of the praise. "I do not understand very well why my drawings draw so much attention, I think they are very simple things," she told Vanguardia.

I beg to differ.

Keep on painting, Concha!
